Hello:
I am asking this from the perspective of Y chromosome DNA research.
Are there any direct line male descendants from any of the English
Royal Bastards? If so, who are they?
Thanks,
Steven C. Perkins

What about the Cornwall family, are they excluded on a technicality or
are they considered extinct now? Similairly the Beaufort family? Any
agnatic Carey or Perrott descendants? I seem to have answered the
question with more questions!

Quite true, but it was the Earls illegitimate son who was the
'stammvater' of the Cornwall family, which is why I asked if the
family was excluded on a technicality (i.e. illegitimate grandson of a
king, rather than as an illegitimate son as the OP presumably
intended).

Henry:
Thanks for your post and question. I'll certainly accept an
illegitimate grandson if he has current direct line male descendants.

Steven'
