Hi:

I am working on the ancestry of the Amyot family.

I got that discrepancy when you verify the dates. PA is Pere Anselme.

If we presume 20 years between generations, we get this:

JOYEUSE (de) Louis II x LOUVET Jeanne, 1419-03-29 Bourges, PA (3) 837
will 1441, son married 1448

JOYEUSE (de) Randon II x AUBERT Catherine, x 1399 (year presumed), PA
(3) 836-837
- she was married before 1420 according to PA.
- Since his parents married in 1379, about 1400 makes more sense
- quoted 1418-1421, daughter married 1423

AUBERT Étienne x CHASLUS (de) Marie, x 1379 (year presumed), PA (2)
399
- seigneur in 1396 from some titles
- genealogics stop her, Pere Anselme has more generations.

AUBERT Guillaume x ROCHECHOUART (de) Isabel, x 1359 (year presumed),
PA (2) 399
- got a land in 1353, quoted in 1387, so the line seems to be good
until here
- her father was gouverneur du Limousin in both father and daughter
entries in PA

ROCHECHOUART (de) Louis x TRIGNAC (de) Marie dite de Javercy, x 1339
(year presumed), PA (4) 653
- said to be écuyer in 1355, alive in 1398
- it seems the problem is here, i.e. despite an exact reference, Louis
and Marie would not be the parents of Isabel

ROCHECHOUART (de) Jean Ier x SULLY (de) Jeanne, x 1336 Quasimodo, PA
(4) 653
killed at Poitiers 1356, so a marriage in 1336 makes sense.

If I identified correctly the mistake, who are the parents of Isabel
de ROCHECHOUART ? It would fit better if Isabel was the sister and
not the daughter of Louis.
