Where is the manor of Brockhampton

Legg inn av Vicki Perry » 10 apr 2007 16:07:51

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could help me to figure out where the below
mentioned manor of Brockhampton, Hants is. On the MDR, there is a
Bockhampton in the parish of Christchurch (now Dorset I think). I also found
a reference online to a Brockhampton being in the parish of Havant. Is there
any way to work out where this reference actually is? There are also
parishes of Brockhampton in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. I just really
want to be able to pinpoint it on a map! I have also seen it referred to as
Brokehampton in a later document (this time with no county).

Thanks

Vicki Perry

If it's Hants, it must be Havant, near Southampton.
