This one is interesting. I had already had Elizabeth Tyrell of Heron

But I had ALSO had another Elizabeth Tyrell of Heron married to
Richard Hawte and by him mother of Elizabeth (Hawte) St Leger.
The knowledge that these two Elizabeth's are the same person puts a
bit of a crimp in her dates. In particular since Sir Robert Darcy did
not die until 2 Nov 1469 and *yet* Elizabeth is given as a full sister
to Sir John Tyrrell Speaker of the House of Commons (in 1428, 1431,
and 1436), then Elizabeth must have been really pushing the envelope
to be giving birth to yet another child past 1469.
The other possibility is equally unpleasant, that she is a daughter of
Thomas Tyrell by Anne Marney who cause a few generations to have
extraordinarily specific birthranges of only a few years.
Something is wrong either in my data or with the established picture
of this family.

Re: Clues from Lists-Indexes, vol. 12 (Early Chancery Proc.)
Is this Elizabeth Tyrrell of Heron in any way related to a Swynford
family?
I have a dim memory of the names "Tyrrell", "Heron" and "Swynford" for
that period... and I don't have the info handy.. I think...
Ooops... no. Well, close. I have:
William Swynford, b. 1294 in Heron, Sussex -> Jane Swynford (d. 1324)
of Heron m. Walter Tyrrell and had a son Walter Tyrell. Rats. I see
I have the source for this as from the LDS archives: 9H3P-FR??
Still, could they be somehow related? Darcy's did intermarry into
Swynford (in a way) in the 1400s with the widow of a Lord Darcy
marrying Thomas Swynford (as a second wife) (said lady was Margareta
Gray, Lady Darcy).
My problem is that I have more than a few Elizabeth Swynfords for the
14th C. intermarrying supposedly with Belesby, Catesby(?), Adderby,
Thimbleby, and a Jane with Tyrrell.
Any ideas gratefully accepted.

GBR's _RD600_ shows a John Crispe and wife Joan Sevenoaks ancestral to
Warren of Virginia and Gibbs of South Carolina (and I have speculated
they are ancestral as well to Lionel Chewte). I assume this is the
same couple, since we have a John and Joan Cryps/ Crispe about the
same period and some of her property interests were indeed in
Sevenoaks, Kent. Does anybody know anything about her grandmother,
Johanne Hereward?
