Use what talents you possess; the woods would be verysilent if no birds sang except those that sang best.
- Henry Van Dyke, 1852 - 1933

Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel asfree to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?
- Rose FitzgeraldKennedy, 1890 - 1995

Be as a bird perched on a frail branch that she feelsbending beneath her, still she sings away all the same, knowing she has wings.

Do you know of a source of descendants for the De Redvers De Vernons that were the later Earls of Devon after the first Richard son of Baldwin died? That would help me straighten out the mess I am in. LOL I need to be able to see the first few generations of that family so that I can separate the mistakes I have connected to the De Clares.

Apart from Complete Peerage, try to find the following that should be
available in most university & larger reference libraries:

Frederick Hockey, The House of Redvers and Its Monastic Foundations,
_Anglo-Norman Studies_ 5

Robert Bearman, Baldwin de Redvers: Some Aspects of a Baronial Career in the
Reign of King Stephen, _Anglo-Norman Studies_ 18

and especially

_Charters of the Redvers Family and the Earldom of Devon, 1090-1217_, edited
by Robert Bearman (1994)
