MACKWORTH V. OWEN contains the statement:
"Signed by William Crowne of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Middlesex, gent,
on behalf of Mackworth."
.... which is interesting to students of New England genealogy.

Someone else actually posted it (M. Pedrick). I believe Thomas T. of
Nova Scotia was son of Sir John Temple of Stanton Bury, who was son of
Sir Thomas Temple of Stowe.
But the extract from the Court of Chivalry does add some significant
details on Thomas T. of Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucs., reputed
ancestor of the New England immigrant Robert Temple (who married
Mehitable Nelson, a known descendant of the Stowe family). Thomas
Temple of Bourton had a wife Susan and son Thomas living in ca. 1634.
A note in _Calendar of the Correspondence of Richard Baxter_ indicates
that Thomas of Bourton was "the son of Sir William Temple, 4th Provost
of Trinity College, Dublin" but the Court of Chivalry extract firmly
ties him to the Stowe family, showing that he was son of Thomas and
Hester (Sandys) Temple (see also the case of TEMPLE V. ANDREWS).

Another child of Thomas of Bourton on the Water is presumably shown in
the IGI:
Bourton On The Water, Gloucester
--Charles Temple, son of --- Temple, bapt. 16 March 1639 [probably
"--- Temple" is the extractor's method of rendering "Mr. Temple"]

Re: Temples of New England illuminated by Court of Chivalry
I have a little knowledge of another Temple family in Nova Scotia and New
Brunswick and am not sure if any of these characters link in with names that
the group is talking about. The oral family tradition, is that they were
linked with Temple family of Stowe in some way, so (despite no titles) here
goes:
1 Thomas Temple married Mary Frances Landon in St Matthew's, Bethnal Green
in May 1789
2 Rev William Temple (1790 - 1873) who married Sarah Ann Hinge
in 1817 and they moved to Canada
3 William Henry Temple (1819-1829)
3 Mary Ann Temple (Jan 1821-May 1821)
3 Baby Temple (b & d 16 April 1822)
3 Thomas Allen Temple (b April 1824)
m Annie Chestnut
m Henrietta Bevire
3 Rev Robert Alder Temple (1826 NB or NS- 1908 Ohio)
m Mary (Harris??)(June 1853)
4 Sarah Temple (b 1854)
4 Annie Temple (b 1861)
4 William Temple (b 1862)
4 Sophie de Wolf Temple (1865 NB-1903)
m William Harry Watts (1869-1938) - my line
4 Ettie Temple (b 1868)
3 Mary Ann Temple (1827-1849)
3 Sarah Landon Temple
m Isaac Purinton
3 Eliza De Wolfe Temple (1835-1842)
3 William Henry Temple (4 Aug 1837-9 Aug 1837)
2 Thomas Allen Temple
2 Samuel Landon Temple
2 Mary Ann Temple
2 George Temple
would like some help in finding out more about Thomas Temple and Mary
Frances Landon
cheers
