Identity of Lucy Godman's first husband: Edward Avery of La

In my discussion of Lucy, the sister of accused witch Mrs. Elizabeth
Godman of CT, I noted the 1632/2 marriage record of Lucy Avery and
Peter Farnden (Mrs. Lucy Farnden was called a sister of Elizabeth
Godman in New England records). That, with the A2A record showing
that Lucy Avery was a widow when she married Peter Farnden, allowed me
to place these sisters correctly as children of Thomas and Mary
(Porter) Godman and grandchildren of Richard and Jane (Whitfield)
Porter, who have a number of other colonial immigrants among their
descendants

An article in _Sussex Archaeological Collections_ gives the identity
of Lucy's first husband, EDWARD Avery of Lamberhurst.

I can't get the snippets to align properly so that this information
can be displayed; however, upon searching the terms "avery" and
"godman" without quotes in Google Books, the results page shows the
pertinent info in the first entry: "Lucy Godman was first married to
Edward Avery of Lamberhurst, whose will she proved ..."

I just realized that this Lucy and her cousin Lucy Hawes were
namesakes of Jane's daughter Lucy by her second husband, Edward
Quinby, Esq.
