Another Gateway Query

On one website I found the names of the ships in the Winthrop Fleet,
Arabella Flagship; Ambrose, Talbot, Charles, Mayflower, William & Francis, Hopewell, Whale, Success, Trial

No "Mary & John"

In his book on American Ancestors and relatives of the Princess of Wales, by Reitwiesner and Roberts,
we find on page 31, 30 two generations (amongst many) of ancestors of Lady Diana Spencer

114. John Luff, died Salem ca.1667/8, immigrant on the _Mary & John_ to Boston, 1633, in Salem 1636;married
115 Bridget --- living 1671, aged 84

=========The above to me is slightly confusing. On another website "The Mary & John Clearing House" is recorded that the ship "Mary & John" _was_ part of the Winthrop Fleet and left England on 20 March 1630. This website has three passenger lists,
A List - Certain or highly probable
B List - probable
C List - possible

I cannot find John Luff on any of these lists.

If Bridget was aged 84 in 1671, then she was born about 1587. Surely she was married to John Luff about 1630 when the "Mary & John" sailed? Surely they had children by then? Surely she too was a passenger?
========Back to Reitwiesner and Roberts' ancestor list of Lady Diana Spencer

56.Robert Hibbard, perhaps the Robert Hibbard baptised St.Edmunds, Wiltshire, England 13 March 1613, son of John Hibbard, died Beverly, Mass. 7 May 1684, immigrant, in Salem 1638, in Beverly 1670/1, married Salem ca.1640
57. Joan Luff, died Beverly shortly before 6 April 1696

----------Joan Luff married about 1640 someone about 27 years old, how old was she? If she was more than 10 years old she would have been a migrant as well, as we must presume she came with her parents who left England in 1630.

Can anyone shine light on this family?
With best wishes

Leo .... I don't know about the Winthrop Fleet as such, but when vague
phrases like 'left England' or 'sailed' are used, they hide something more
complex.

Fleets assembled over time at different anchorages. They waited for winds at
places like the Downs, when passengers would got on and off (to continue
with their mainland affairs). The whole process could take weeks or months
before the 'fleet' actually got out into the Atlantic.
