Style for Catherine of Aragon wife of Henry VIII

I was wondering what the correct style was for Catherine the first
wife of Henry VIII.

In a court document written in Latin, she is referred to as:

"excellentissime principisse Katerine Regine Anglie".

Most Excellent Princess Catherine Queen of England

Was Catherine addressed as Princess because she was a princess in her
own right?

Gosh, all this lard on the powers-that-be had started then! I picked up
a few months back that Henry VIII was the one who started the fashion to
call himself 'Majesty'.

Was it part of the emergent belief in the Divine Right of Kings, now
thankfully abolished though not the fashion for lard?
