Dear John,

A very interesting connection to the Cavendish family. I had
not seen prior reference to this (or any other) Roger (de) Cavendish

Unfortunate as it may be, assuming the pedigree is correct in
re: Sir Godfrey de Stratton and Roger de Cavendish, this connection is
not ancestral to the well-known Cavendish family of Suffolk (i.e. the
progeny of Bess of Hardwick), with Roger evidently being a great-uncle
of some degree. But, it's a connection, nonetheless.

Thanks for both the pedigree and the CPR link.

Cheers,

John
