William Owen of Condover

Some time ago, in a private email Marc Hoover made known to me that in
"History of the Family of Bagot of Bagots Bromley and Blithfield, Co. Stafford," by
Maj.-Gen. Hon. George Wrottesley, (Harrison and Sons, St. Martin's Lane,
London 1908), page 93, Lettice Bagot, b. at Blithfield Nov. 25, 1606, m. William
Owen, Esq., of Condover, Salop."

As I had posted in the past, Lettice was contracted 1609/10 to marry Humphrey
Okeover of Okeover "son and heir" of Rowland

Burke's Landed Gentry states that Humphrey did have a son in 1624, but not by
Lettice. So it would appear the contract was broken off for some reason.

My question today however is, in reviewing the OWEN family in my database I
find I already have some Owen of Condover's. I have a William Owen of Condover
who married "Ellen or Frances" Needham. This William died 1662. His heir
Roger was born sometime between 1600 and 1624 so William himself would appear to
be of the right ago (possibly) to be this same William who married Lettice
Bagot.

I'm just not sure if he is or not. Anyone know?
Thanks
Will
