Jadwiga of Poland. "Angevin sickness"?

I'm trying to reference the information in the Wikipedia article about
Jogaila, grand duke of Lithuania and king of Poland, and I'm down to a
few bits and pieces that I can't source. I wonder if anyone in this
group has any idea what the following is based on (the note relates to
the death of Queen Jadwiga and her daughter Bonifacia in 1399 owing to
birth complications):

"The deaths are often attributed to the so-called "Angevin sickness", a
supposed genetic defect that raised the mortality rate among children
of Angevin blood very high. During the 19th-century exhumation of
Jadwiga's remains, her pelvis was found to be unusually narrow, another
factor which might have contributed to her death."

I'm going to ask Polish editors to look into that, too, but I can't
find anything in books or on the internet so far about the matter. I'm
even starting to wonder if this "Angevin sickness" even exists, because
I can't find anything about that either. I think there would be plenty
of likelier reasons for the deaths than a genetic sickness or a narrow
pelvis for the deaths, and so I'm on the point of striking this
speculative note out, but if there's any truth in the above, I'm sure
this group will know.

Many thanks.
