KinHelp website

Public announcement: My Kinhelp website <www.kinhelp.co.uk> has been
revamped over the past few days and is now online again, courtesy of my
daughter's other half, a university lecturer in IT.
I am now able to do more of my own corrections, links, updates, blogs,
etc. and I hope that some of you may let me have comments on the new
site. I have retained many of the "help" articles which were valued by
users, and might add more if requested. In the meantime, I intend to put
short helpful items in my Blog page.
One of the changes is another new genealogical index, this time to
"Charters, writs and public documents of the Royal Burgh of Dundee,
1292-1880". Many of the entries are from the upper classes of society,
but tradespersons do figure as well. I hope some of you gain benefit
from this free use index.
I have now started work on an index to an excellent Perth book source
of data from the 15th and 16th centuries - many of the people being
commoners.
Happy hunting!
Gordon Johnson.
