37. Sir William Vernon b. 1416, d. 31 July 1467 (will PCC Godyn 9); m.
Margaret, daughter of William Swinfen (Swynfen) by Joyce (Jocosa)
Durvassal, dau. of William Durvassal alias Spernore and heiress also of
Sir Robert Pype (d. 1490) (See: Gen. Mag. 15:119-120, for an excellent
Swinfen pedigree drawn from primary sources).
