Russell estimated that the population 1377 was 15,503
subsequently revised to 20,000.

Michael Bennett estimated population 1377 to be
48,000.

These figures are quoted by Philip Morgan in "War and
Society in Medieval Cheshire"

Is anyone aware of other statistics?

Also what was the approximate population 1250-1300?

Thank you

You can also try: Plague, population, and the English economy,
1348-1530
Hatcher, John. Macmillan, 1977.
