I found in a good site a description about the Scarborough medieval castle:
http://kinemage.biochem.duke.edu/~panth ... .scar.html
It is complete of photos.
According to the site, the Great Hall, a building which is separate from
the Keep, was used for lunch, dinners, by all the people who inhabited the
castle. But this is my question: was the Great Hall used also by the King
and by his family?
Inside the Keep there is another great floor, but in the site they doesn't
specify what it was used for.
Could you explain me?
Did the king, or the governor, exit from the Keep to do banquets and "beer
party"
remain always inside the Keep?
Thank you in advance...!
Bye
