John Tyrrell 1478 parentage

Has there been any suggestion of the parentage of John Tyrrell, born
around 1478 in Little Warley, and who married Ann Norreys? I can't
help but wonder if he is the son of Humphry Tyrrell (born about 1444)
of Little Warley and probably his first wife Isabel Helion.

Have you used "The Tyrells of England" by Oliver F. Brown
(Phillimore, Chicester, Sussex, 1982)?

There is a published IPM for a Humphrey Tyrell dated 28th October, 23
Henry VII (1507). Among the extensive land holdings listed is two
thirds of the manor of Warley. The heir is said to be John, son of
Humphrey, aged 24. This would make him born around 1483. Humphrey's
wife is named as Elizabeth, although she may not be John's mother.
Humphrey's father is named as Thomas. A second son, Thomas, is also
named. Humphrey made his will at East Horndon. Other Tyrells are
mentioned including a Robert Tyrell, knight, a Robert Tyrell, esquire
and an Edward Tyrell.

This Humphrey was married to Isabel Helion and then Elizabeth Walwyn.
He apparently had one daughter (Anne) by his first wife and 6 sons
(including John and Thomas) by the second.

This and the Tyrell book mentioned earlier should help with this
question.
