A little more on Thomas Pury, Jr., showing that his wife was a Kyrle (?
related to Col. Robert Kyrle of the Ironworks) and that he "favoured
the Restoration" despite his father's having been a strong Puritan or
presbyterian ...

Interesting, though very incorrect (the petition mentioning the
four-years-seven-months imprisonment came much later, in the 1680s) ...
