I was in Cumbria for the weekend, and called in to St Mungo's church at
Bromfield to see the Crookdake Chapel. Although the new incumbent was
unable to tell me the current whereabouts of the memorial stone to Sir
Adam de Crookdake, there were a number of other interesting items, and
some heraldic glass to the family. I took a couple of photographs and
would be pleased to forward these to any listers who might be
interested.

Would love what you have Michael.
I have Christian Crookdale who married Robert de Castlecarrock in the 13th
century. She was the daughter and heir of John Crookdale.
Best wishes

Have posted these to you, Merilyn. Christian was a coheir; her sister
married into the de Hereford family - I think a google search here
would also reveal further details.

Kind regards, Michael
