Translation of trades and offices, French to English

Hi:

I am preparing the English version of my CD-ROM and the next version
of my web site and this new release will translate the occupation
when I have it in my database. The occupation is already viewable,
but I use the French term in both languages.

I built a file
http://www.francogene.com/gfna/gfna/998/trades.htm
which have 2 sections, pre-1600 and post-1600.

The pre-1600 section has about 174 lines and 5 columns:

the trade/occupation/job/office in French
my translation
a time reference (like the birth/marriage/death of the person,
parents, etc., with no prefix like before/about/after to lighten
the file)
the related person (to help to find existing translations)

The second part is similar but without persons because the 2nd
list is quite large.

I would like to know any translation mistake, be it in the
medieval part (relevant to that newsgroup) or not.
