All,

Sometime ago, I ran across a reference to a Margaret Zowche, lady of Farelehe
as a benefactor of to the Nunnery of Winteneye, Hanpshire . No date.
I believe that Douglas has drawn a conclusion that this was Margaret Biset
who married Roger la Zouche and that Farlegh Wallop was the inheritance of
William la Zouche of Essex.

However, I find further puzzling information that may suggest another line.

Without question Oliver la Zouche had an heir male and succeeding
generations produced other male heirs. Oliver died 1316 m. 1)) poss. Iseult
de Chernet/Kernet 2) Joan de Cobham aft 1284. Joan de Cobham m. 1) Michael
Columbariis (d. c. 1284.) Oliver's son John, probably by the first wife,
married a Matilda and died ca. 1349, leaving a son Oliver and probably
others. Hampshire records.
