Who was the mother of Edward Huberd's children?

Back in 1996, Marlyn Lewis stated that "Margaret Huberd [a
Harlakenden-Haynes ancestress] is daughter of Edward Huberd and his
first wife Jane Southall, daughter of John Southall ..." See

But Edward Hubberd's biography in HOP seems to imply differently:

HUBBERD, Edward (d. 1602), of Birchanger and Stansted Mountfitchet,
Essex.

MONMOUTH BOROUGHS 1593
LANCASTER 1597

1st s. of Richard Hubberd of Birchanger. m. (1) bef. 1567, Jane,
da. and h. of John Southall of Stansted Mountfitchet, da. and h. of
John Southall of Stansted Mountfitchet, at least 1s.; (2) Eleanor, da.
of John Fortescue I*, 3s. 3da. [citing "Vis. Essex (Harl. Soc. xiv),
584."]
Receiver-gen. to Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, by 1580; six
clerk in Chancery 1580-d.; j.p. Essex by 1583, q. by 1586, Herts. by
1596, q. by 1601.

Think I've figured something out:

The following marriage in extracted IGI must apply:

Saint Andrew By The Wardrobe, London

Edward Hubbart to Ellin Pigott, 6 Feb. 1591

If you enter "Valentine Pigott" in the FamilySearch search engine, you
find a Valentine Pigott who married Eleanor Fortescue. Then, checking
the British National Archives for Pigott wills, I find:

Sentence of Valentyne Pigott of Loughton, Bedfordshire 18 May 1590

Hence, it seems likely that Edward Huberd or Hubberd's second wife was
Ellen or Eleanor Fortescue, widow of Valentine Pigot.

Brief details of the will of John Southall are given in NEHGR
120: 246. It states there that Margaret (Huberd) Harlakenden was
named in the administration of her grandfather John Southall,
along with most of the other Harlakenden children.
