_The History of the First Church in Boston_ mentions the descendants
of Rev. Thomas Bridge: "[t]he descendants of Bridge in the female line
by the names of Marion and Story have been connected with the church,
at different periods, down to the present time." See, for example,

and

Hayward's _Gazetteer of Massachusetts_ states that Rev. Bridge was aged
58 at his death in 1715 ...

And the following source says he was born at Hackney in 1657 --

The extracted IGI has a record which fits this perfectly: baptism of
Thomas Bridge, son of Daniel, 19 April 1657, at Saint John, Hackney. I
expect the marriage of the father might be that of "Daniell Bridg" and
"Elizabeth Corndell," 12 May 1653 at Saint Michael Bassishaw, London.

See also NEHGR 17:358 which gives further details about the wife of
Rev. Thomas Bridge: "The life of William Paterson, Founder of the Bank
of England; by S. Bannister, M.A. Edinburgh, 1858; contains (page
425-7) a copy of Paterson's will, dated July 1, 1718, in which is the
following item: 'After my debts paid I give to Elizabeth, my
daughter-in-law, only child to my first wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Turner,
relict to the late Mr. Thomas Bridge minister of the gospel in Boston,
in New England, fifteen hundred pounds.'"
