Daughters of Ruaidhri mac Raghnaill and the Manx kings?

Group,

Can anyone tell me when and where the tradition started that two daughters of Ruaidhri mac Raghnaill mhic Somhairlidh were married off to Raghnall, King of Man and his brother Amlaibh Donn ? I thought this was a fabrication and a long put to rest one at that, but now I see Alex Woolf making this very claim in his chapter for 'The Argyll Book', (ed. Donald Omand, Birllinn, 2004), called 'The Age of Sea-Kings 900-1300'.

"...at some point he [Ruaidhri] appears to have patched up the feud with his Manx cousin Ragnall mac Gofraid, marrying his daughters to this king and his brother Olaf the Black." (p. 107)

"...Olaf repudiated Ruaidri's daughter and, marrying instead Christina of Ross, threw his lot in with the King of Scots." (p. 107)
