Have a dilemna that I cannot solve.

I have an Anne FIELDING daughter of Sir William FIELDING & Agnes De St
LIZ who married Humphrey GREY Esq., of Enville, Staffordshire &
Withybrook, Warwickshire. They had a daughter Mary GREY who married
John DIXWELL of Coton ,Warwickshire and their great, great grandson is
Colonel John DIXWELL, the regicide who is my great granddaughters 9th
great grandfather. Sir William FIELDING of Lutterworth also held the
manor of Newnham Paddox, Warwickshire and he died at the battle of
Tewsbury.

Then there is Anne FIELDING ,daughter of William FIELDING of Newnham
Warwickshire who married ,[1] Richard CAVE of Pickwell Leicestershire &
[2]William FAUNT, of Foston, Leicestershire. This William FIELDING is
also of Newnham Warwickshire.

Are these Williams & Annes the same people?
I have read all the messages on this list pertaining to
FIELDING/FEILDING trying to sort this out, but confusion reigns.

You probably are aware that there is a treatment of this New England
Dixwell line in Alicia Crane Williams, ed., _Chase-Wigglesworth
Genealogy_ (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Company, 1990), pp.
181-88.

Yes, thank you. I recently became aware of it, but have yet to see it.
My local libaray does not have a copy.
