Question Regarding Wife of Madog ap Gruffudd Maelawr (d. 123

I have found much support for identifying the wives of the Princes of Powys
Fadog from Madog ap Maredudd (d. 1159) to Gruffudd ap Madog (d. 1269), but
feel uneasy about the reliability of the identification of the wife of Madog ap
Gruffudd (d. 1236). One source I have identifies her as Ysota, daughter of
Ithel ap Rhys. Can anyone share more on this wife, her identity and
ancestry? Thanks.

Gruffudd ap Madog ap Gruffudd Maelor ap Madog (d. 7 Dec. 1269) married Emma de Audley, daughter of Henry de Audley and Bertrade de Mainwaring. His lands were hemmed in by the English marchers, and he was one of three Welsh princes who did not support Dafydd's rebellion against the English in 1244.
Madog ap Gruffudd Maelor ap Madog ap Maredudd (d. 1236) married Gwladus ferch Ithel "Frenin Gwent" ap Rhys ab Ifor ap Hywel ap Morgan Fychan ap Morgan Hir of Gwent. Their children were listed by Peter C. Bartrum as well as Jones in Cymmrodorion (1958), page 30, note 10.
Further detail is in my Medieval Welsh Ancestry of Certain Americans, pp. 9-23.
