OT ? We're all reptiles
I was mousing around and stumbled onto David Icke's theory that reptilian
extra-terrestrials interbred with humans and created some sort of super-race
that has ruled "the rest of us" for thousands of years.
OK craziness, but then he says that Charlemagne was one of these
part-reptiles.
But hold on here. If Charlemagne had part-reptile-DNA and that came to all
his descendents... then who are the "rest of us" ? There is no "rest of us",
that's all of us.
I am one of the believers, that every person with any Western European
ancestry, given sufficient time and energy can trace themselves back to
Charlemagne.

Why only in western europe? I know he has descendants in Northern -
Eastern and Southern Europe as well. Then add to these those descendants
(crusaders and explorers) who went to the Middle East, Far East, Asia,
Africa, Australia as well as America.and mixed with the local population?

You'd be surprised, but most people around the world do. Even in the darkest
of Africa, New Guinea perhaps not, and a few other exceptions.

Dear Doug, Leo, Will, et al.
On the one hand, the essence of Darwinian evolution theory would
have all humans with non-human mammalian ancestry, with more distant
reptilian (non-dinosaur) ancestry, traced back to amphibian &c. &c.
On the other hand, the extra-terrestrial part is a bit of a
stretch - but then this might explain that interesting talking gecko
with the English accent, wot?
Cheers,
John
P.S. - But I do have good news: I've just switched my car
insurance.....

RE: OT ? We're all reptiles
Then why aren't there "humans" with reptillian features?? Mendellian (sp?)
genetics dictate that somewhere down the line features of the prime
generation will show up in the offspring.
Or, am I missing something, somewhere??

Re: OT ? We're all reptiles
Why am I suddenly hearing Culture Club singing "Karma Chameleon" in my head?
And why do all those movie cliches about white man -- or, more currently,
politicians -- speaking with forked tonguecome to mind as well.
Anyway, I'd love to continue the silliness but I have a hot date with a rock
in the sun, and after a nice quick bask there, I think I'll go slough off my
skin.

While you're facts are accurate as to human anatomy, (not to be
disparaging!!) your conclusion is almost as great a "leap of faith" as the
individual who purports to have traced their genealogy back to Adam and Eve
(I'd like to see the primary source documents to support that one!!). I
mean, look how much dispute there is just over the material from about 900
CE to the present! How is it possible to even theorize about something
thousands of years before that??
