New genealogical publication

In 2006 it was sixty years ago that the Nederlandse Genealogische Vereniging (NGV) was founded. To commemorate this event a book was published :

"Afstammingsreeksen van de Hertogen van Brabant" (Lines of descent from the Dukes of Brabant).

The presentation is close to the work of Gary Boyd Roberts, it displays lines to present day members of the Society (and includes at least one contributor on Gen-Med) but in fuller detail, dates and place names for birth, marriage and death (if available). Amongst the lines are two who, I presume, are not members of this society, the crown princes of The Netherlands and Belgium.

As the earliest combined ancestors lived about 1050, there is an enormous amount of medieval information recorded for western Europe.

The House of Louvain (male line ancestors of these Duke of Brabant) are also ancestors (in the male line) of the early Percy, Earls of Northumberland, as well as of the huge House of Hessen,
and other male line descendants are the families van Witthem, Heimrod, Dongelberghe and the still extant von Cornberg and von Hanau families. I think I have spotted another male line which may go as far as the present.

I think many people would/should like this book.
