In over my head

Boy do I need help... I am trying (ever so slowly) to put together a family
tree. And I'm having major problems with it.. Here are my major headaches
(today that is)

1. Is Gwladus ddu of Wales the legitimate daughter of Joan of England and
Llywelyn ap Iorwerth? I have one source (the Plantagenet Ancestry by
Douglas Richardson a god send) that says yes and I have another saying she
is the daughter of Llywelyn and Tangwysti.
Another major problem is Arundel and FitzAlan, my head is swimming, I
for the life of me cannot figure out Eleanor Fitzalan b abt 1409 in Surrey
who married Thomas Browne. b 1405 in Kent and d 1461. (there is also a
Thomas Browne who was convicted of high treason and beheaded in July 1460)
I have an outline another "family" member sent me but it doesn't add up the
parents and grandparents are all wrong. Can someone please help me out? I
descend from Rev. John and Anne
(lovelace) Gorsuch

thank you in advance,
Roberta

The archives are full of debate on that question!

Try the Genealogics website for a sense of what most scholars currently
think.
