Update of Genealogy of French in North America

Hi:

I have updated my database with new data after 5 months.

The main new feature is the number of marriages of ancestors
or descendants for a given couple, the computation being made
from the 192,000 couples in my home database.

This will give to visitors 2 new tools:

- One can now estimate if an immigrant has or not descendants
today. I know many Europeans want to know if their far cousin
in New France has descendants or not. Keep in mind that this is
the number of marriages: if a child got married 10 times and had
no child himself, the number will be 10. Moreover, I didn't build
the genealogy of the 6 million Quebecers with French roots. When
there are figures after 1900, it is often because I made some
genealogy for notable people or friends and not because I looked
for descendants for every body.
- If you want to follow a royal medieval line, it is now easier.
Check both parents and use the one with the farest ancestors.

The online database still cover the period from Roman times to
1720 and the children.

That said, I added a mechanism to forbid site copying. So, you have
to check it online. But I am now working on a CD-ROM version covering
to 1765 plus children (same content as the site, plus page numbers
of the sources).

I remind you the URL.
