Genealogics: Thomas Berkeley of Wymondham d 1488

On Leo's great web site here
http://www.genealogics.org/getperson.ph ... 6&tree=LEO

we see Thomas Berkeley of Wymondham and two of his children.

"History of the Manor and Township of Doddington", R.E.G. Cole. J Williamson,
printer, 1897

in discussing Sir William Hussey (d 1495) husband of Elizabeth Berkeley,
which it states is daughter of this Thomas d 1488, that "his [William's]
brother-in-law was Reginald Gayton, he having married his wife's sister..."

So there should be another Berkeley sibling for Elizabeth, an unnamed female
with husband Reginald Gayton.

Anyone know anymore about this couple?
Thanks

No but I did put all the people in Smyth's "Lives of the Berkeleys"
onto my site a year or two back. This account was written in 1628 or so
and transcribed and published in 1883.

Smyth only gives Elizabeth and Maurice as the children of their parents.
The problem with this particular family unit is that they are a bit too
early for Smyth to have known them and they are much to remote from the
core Berkeley lines for Smyth to have had access to documents about them.
He is not infallible on such people.
