I called in at Icomb this afternoon at took a few photographs of the
Blakett tomb in the south transept of the church, with its effigy of
Sir John. I would be happy to forward copies if anyone is interested.

Rosie Bevan has kindly pointed out that the 1431 death I gave in the
header (based on the brass beside the tomb) is incorrect, given that
the IPM writs were issued on 18 October 1430, and the inquest asserts
he died on 24 June 1430.
