Hello All,
Following on a prior post, below is a pedigree tracing the descent of
Filmer (Honywood), 11th Baronet Honywood of Evington through the emigrant Robert
Cunyngham (and his daughter, Heriot (Cunyngham) Crooke of Savannah, Georgia)
through one particular line ascending to Robert I 'the Bruce', King of Scots.
In addition to connecting directly to the Hughes-Hallett descent
previously posted, this also reflects descent from Sir John Edward Honywood, 6th
Baronet (d. 1845), whose record in the Ruvigny (Exeter) volume provides a separate
ascent to Edward III, King of England.
Cheers,
John *

of Alexander Montgomery and Catherine Kennedy his wife [SP III:433, sub

one daughter, a fourth child: " 4. Helen married Sir James Bruce of Airth.
