Margery Hurleston/Hocknall/Hough or Coventry?

Dear all,

I seem to have hit a bit of a problem with how many times Margery/Margaret
Hurleston married. She was first the wife of William Hocknell of Prenton
who died in 1563. That seems undisputed.

In http://cheshire-heraldry.org.uk/visitat ... 3/1613.pdf

Under HURLESTON of Chester, she is shown as marrying secondly to Richard
Houghe of Leighton.

On the COVENTRY of Newhouse in West Kirby pedigree, she is shown as
re-marrying Richard Coventry of Newhouse.

However, on the a2a site, the following:

FILE - General court roll (Pentice only) - ref. ZM/SR/5 - date: 1565-66
item: [no title] - ref. ZM/SR/5/4 [n.d.]
[from Scope and Content] Thomas Orton of the City of Chester,
skinner, v. Richard Hough, Esq. and Margery his wife, executors of the will
of William Hocknell, late her husband, dec. in a plea to damage of 43s.
Attorneys: Roger Hale and Thomas Thropp. It was stated that on 15th July,
1558, Ranulph Lloide late of the City of Chester, gent. was owing 43s. for
'uno le face budge uno le face...... et uno le face black conny skynns'.

So did she actually marry 3 times?

To add to the problem, there is a marriage record on 27 February 1593 of
Katherine Coventry (daughter of Thomas Coventry of Newhouse and Alice, 3rd
daughter of Wm. Hocknell of Prenton) to Richard Houghe at West Kirby.

Does anyone please have any information on the above?

Regards,
Yvonne Purdy (nee Sherlock)
