Good Morning All,
Just another possible and most interestiing update for those who were
interested in the Tailebois/Lancaster/Ketel lines posted lated last fall.
This may help some on original source documentation and and land leads.

In 1234, Ralph de Lahee son of William Ketel transfers the whole of his
lands called Bahcwilim to the Abbey of Ystrad Marchell thru what I
'believe' is the family of Owain Cyfeiliog son-in-law of Rhys ap Gruffyd.
Owain, the founder of the abbey and I believe is the prince of south
Wales.

The original charter of The Abbey of Ystrad Marchell No. 82 can bee seen
in it's original state oon-line and can be enlarged and read along with
it's original seal as well as many other charters of that time period by
going to
http://www.llgc.org.uk/drych/drych_s018.htm

Who is Ralph de Lahee son of William Ketel??
Is this the son of one of the William(Ketel) de Lancasters or another
Ketel? It is also interesting to note that the Abbey of St. Marys was put
under the oversight of the Abbey of Ystrad Marchelle in the beginning as I
understand it and that was founded by the de Lancaster. Hope I haven't
cvonfused any to much or myself. ; )
Best Regards,
Emmett L. Butler
