Will of John de Cornhill aka Cornwall, 1363

From the wills proved at the London Court of Hustings:

John de Cornhulle of Middlesex, dated Monday before 20 July 1363,
proved 1363:

to be buried in the churchyard of St Mary of Wylsdon [Willesden]; lands
and tenements in the parishes of St Vedast and St Augustine in the
Goldsmithery of London to wife Matilda [sic] for life; reversion of
other lands to daughter Alice and the heirs of her body.

This is John de Cornhill alias de Cornwall, son of Richard de Cornhill
and Joan de Gloucester, whose heiress Alice married firstly Henry
Frowyk, and secondly Thomas Charlton of Edmonton. I had previously
recorded his wife as Elizabeth [based, I think on the Middlesex
Pedigrees but I cannot lay my hands on the reference at present] but
this must be questionable given the reference to Matilda in his will.
