"husband of my step-daughter", and the pot stirrer

During my lifetime I have found there are people in this world who are very
talented "pot stirrers". They start a argument out of thin air. Stir in
just enough spice to get it going good. Then stir it up every once in a
while to keep it going, sitting back they laugh to themselves for having
such a talent.

Has anyone noticed the original guy is a "pot stirrer"??? I would suggest
we just drop the original conversation/discussion. If there is any thing of
merit to discuss that has come from this mess, start a new line and don't
respond to him. It usually puts the fire out.

But that is my unasked for two cents.

I tend to agree. He's just a stirrer with a general interest in
genealogy and very little practical knowledge of how to go about it. But
he thinks he knows everything, because he's read a couple of articles on
"how to do genealogy".
