While searching for the full record of will of Richard Tuttle, Symon
Tuttle and John Wells, I found this "gleaning" (still looking for full
record)

Proved 4 May 1550
Northampton

Mary Wells of Yelvertoft, husbandman
dated 4 Apr 1550

to every one of my brother John Wells' children
to my mother
to Thomas, son of my brother John

there was a diagram often seen in pedigrees
=

Elizabeth exor (or uxor, it was not good)
her children named
William
John the elder
John the younger
Doroth W.

at 18 years of age, L5 each

Richard co-exor

witnesses
Henry Comberforde, parson
William Warde
John Roberts
Richard Ashbye
Richard Patch (or Pates)
Thomas Tooley
William Crompe
William Wells

Any suggestions or insights concerning above in consideration with this:

Richard and Elizabeth Tuttle had:
Symon

Symon and Isabel (Elizabeth?) had
Dorothy
John
Richard
Symon
Abigail

FYI, Ringstead, Northamptonshire is just south of Thrapston. Burton
Latimer (John lived there) is further west.

Yelvertoft, Northamptonshire, is east of Rugby

Woodford is west of Thrapston

Whoever said Tharston, Norfolk - it is way too out of way.

of the witnesses
Richard Ashbey seems to be from Bugbrooke, Northampton
William Crompe (Crumpe), from Yelvertoft

I picked up another will - of Thomas Welles of Murcott, to be buried in
Woodford. Mentioned brother William

There are numerous wills of the Wells family. Guess Ibetter check each
and every one of them.

David:

If you do check every one of those wills, I'd really appreciate your getting
back to me with them.

It would probably be a good idea to check the Lyncoln family, too. I
really have the idea that the three families were a rather tightly inbred
group. It gives the appearance of having possibly gone on for atleast
several generations.
