Tuttle intelligence is beared out with this:

Horace Parnell Tuttle, astronomer
55p/Tempel-Tuttle (parent body of Leonid meteor shower)(annual)
109p/Swift-Tuttle (parent body of Perseid meteor shower)(annual)
8P/Tuttle (this orbit average of 13-14 years, next one is 2007 or 2008)
41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak

Charles W. Tuttle, astronomer

Russell Tuttle, morphologist and paleanthropologist

Frank Tuttle, Hollywood film director from 1922 to 1959

Elbert Parr Tuttle, Federal judge in 1950s-1960s

so forth, much more listed in the "Tuttle-Tuthill lines in America" book
by Alva A. Tuthill (the book is more like a directory but linked not in
ordinary genealogical sense), published 1968

So the Tuttle-Tuthill family is all cracked.

You've missed William, son of Frank, Hollywood make-up artist; always to be
found when the make-up wasn't been done by Perc Westmore!!
