"Z vs S"

Matthew,

The Americans use "z" rather than "s" for those words

Anglicanize is correct in USA. Elizabeth is what we call your Queen.

And I checked on Anglophilic, it is correct as well.

Dear David,
I have no problem with the transatlantic variations in spelling; but if
you look at the rest of the word, you say 'anglicanize' and I was
saying that it is actually 'anglicize' without the '-an-'. Also, I
wasn't denying that anglophilic is a word, merely saying that
'Anglophone' was the word that better conveyed your meaning; this is
just a matter of semantics. An anglophile need not be an English
speaker, whereas an Anglophone is one by definition. Thus a Francophone
would naturally use French words, such as 'Londres' for London; a
francophile would be someone who likes France and its culture, without
necessarily translating everything into French. -Matthew
