SKELTON of Branthwaite Hall in Cumberland

Sorry that this is out of period for this group, but a participant here is
most likely to have access to the relevant Visitation or pedigree. I am
looking for the dates of a particular Skelton - for HENRY SKELTON of
Branthwaite Hall in Cumberland.

He was the father of Thomas Skelton of Branthwaite Hall (died 1679) and
grandfather of Henry Skelton of Branthwaite Hall (died 1689). He sold some
land to someone that I'm interested in and I want to narrow down the
possible date of sale.

Thank you

Chris

The earleist Cumberland Visitaion to which I have access is that of
1615 and there is no such Henry in there. However the preface to this
volume says that there is a 1665 visitation by Dugdale, the manuscript
of which, C 39, is in the College of Arms, to which you may have to
apply for information - but save your pennies first!
