Dear Group:
Can anyone confirm (or not) the ancestry of John Johnson of Roxbury,
MA, as given below? I apologize in advance but I can't find any
information in the archives (which leads me greatly to doubt it) and
all of my own reference books are in storage. Is any of the line
valid? It came from completely unsourced websites . . .
Thanks,
Roger

As this would have shown that the following Ahnentafel numbers are in
Smyth's book (which was written around 1628):
6, 7, 12, 13, 26, 27, 52, 53
and will give you one or two more ancestors of these.

No, the ancestry of this John Johnson is completely unknown.
You can ask Mr Richardson, he's done work on this family.
All of the sources youve listed say nothing of John's parents.
This is another example of how much worthless material there is on
the internet.

Re: John Johnson & Throckmorton
Thank you Leslie.
Yes, I could confirm portions of the ancestry but not his immediate
parents at all.
Again, thanks for answering so quickly.
Best,
Roger
