lll Amadeo , Count of Savoy same as Amadeus lll ?

have been trying to decide if these two men were same person.
corrections appreciated because some of the dates are vague.
one appears to be descended from Charles " The Hammer " Martel.
the other appears to be descended from Sigurd Ring.

Well . . . . These are intended to refer to the same person, but you
might want to be a bit careful about the purported descents. Sigurd
Ring, for example, is a legendary character, the amalgamation of
anecdotes involving several distinct historical individuals, with a
whole load of mythology built on.
