Genealogics updated

Genealogics has been updated again. I have been working on the Regicides but am far from finished with them. Go to Text Search and under Occupation enter Regicide and the ones there will be shown collectively.
With Best wishes

Delighted to see someone else following this select group, some of whom
are relatives of mine. And there are quite a few to add to my list of
revolutionary (I nearly wrote revolting) connections.

I have taken my list from those that the DNB (1st edn) classified as
regicides (I got the impression that DNB has an article for each of the
regicides, but will have a check on this later). Others that I have
found are:

Richard Ingoldsby, grandson of Sir Oliver Cromwell who was the
Protector's uncle. In DNB.

John Lisle, descendant of Edward I through the Hungerfords of Down
Ampney. In DNB.

Thomas Waite, but I only know of him as being a many times
gt-grandfather though with no relationship to others of those times.
In DNB.

Robert Wallop, a descendant of Edward I through many lines. In DNB.

Plus a half-regicide:

Matthew Tomlinson: he was appointed to be one of the judges at Charles
I's trial but while not refusing, did not sit. He was involved in the
execution of Charles I. In DNB.

(Sorry to take such an interest in this Off-Topic subject.)
