FYI, effective 15 Jan. 2006, FHC microfilm circulation loan fees will=20
be changed (US$):
o Loan fees for microfilm will change from $3.25 to $5.50.
o Microfiche fees will remain at 15=A2 per fiche.
o All renewals, including films ordered at the $3.25 fee,
will be renewed at the new rate of $5.50.
...This fee change, the first since February 1997, is needed to
keep pace with increasing costs.

British Isles, Australia and elsewhere will charge.
Nine years since the last fee increase? Well, everything else costs
more now. Shipping costs must be a major component.
I remember when a microfilm loan was 75 cents -- that was 1970. Sigh.
Really, I didn't need this reminder that I'm getting older.
