Knevet - Gateway query

Cahiers de Saint Louis page 898 shows

Edmund Knyvett, of Ashwellthorpe, died April 1539 or 1 May 1540, buried Ashwellthorpe,
he married Joan Bourchier, she died 17 February 1562, buried at Ashwellthorpe.
They had the following children :
1.John
2.William
3.Edmund
4.NN
5.Rose married Oliver Reymes
6.Alice married Oliver Spiers
7.Christine married Thomas Foster
8.NN
9.NN
10.NN

Gary Boyd Roberts in his 600 Immigrants page 182 turns one of these NN into Elizabeth who married Francis Bohun.

Does anyone have information that confirms this? And which NN would she be? 4 is probably a son, and that leaves 8,9 or 10.

Many thanks.

Leo:

I can answer part of your question, from the Bohun perspective. FWIW, two
editions of the 1561 Visitation of Suffolk contain a Bohun pedigree which
shows the marriage of Francis Bohun and Elizabeth Knyvett and gives the
parents of Elizabeth as you have indicated. The first is the edition of
Walter C. Metcalfe published in 1882, and the second was edited by Joan
Corder and published by the Harleian Society in 1981. The latter [at least]
is available on CD.

Hope this helps....
