Pope's _Pioneers of Massachusetts_ has the following about Lambert
Sutton and John Russell of Woburn--

[SUTTON], Lambert, Charlestown, adm. chh. 4 (2) 1641, frm. Mary 29,
1644. Rem. to Woburn; taxed, 1645. He d. Nov. 27, 1649. Will dated 8

Mary Russell.

[RUSSELL], John, Cambridge, propr. 1635, frm. March 3, 1635-6. Town
officer; clerk of the writs. Rem. to Woburn; propr. 1640. His wife

[Mdx. Files.] John R., "the Anabaptist," d. 1 (4) 1676. [Mdx. Rec.]
[See Mass. Hist. Coll. 4-8.] Will dated 27 (3) 1676, beq. to wife
Elizabeth, son John and dau. Mary Brooks. The widow d. Jan. 17,
1689-90. Final settlement of the estates by gr. son John.

As Lambert Sutton had no children, this posting is perhaps pointless
.... unless John and Mary Russell, children of John Russell of Woburn
("the Anabaptist"), were kin in some way. Both John and Mary had
(some) descendants, at least (per Savage):

[RUSSELL], JOHN, Woburn, s. of John of the same, b. perhaps in Eng. a
shoemaker, m. 31 Oct. 1661, Sarah Champney, perhaps d. of John of
Cambridge, had John, b. 1 Aug. 162; Joseph, 15 Jan. 1664; Samuel, 3
Feb. 1667, d. at 10 mos. Sarah, 10 Feb. 1671; Elizabeth 19 Feb. 1673;
Jonathan, 6 Aug. 1675; and Thomas, 5 Jan. 1678. After the loss of their
teacher, Gould, by the first Bapt. ch. in Boston, to wh. he had unit.
hims. earlier than his f. perhaps 1666, he was engag. and rem. to B.
was ord. 28 July 1679, but d. 22 Dec. 1680. His wid. ret. to W. and d.
25 Apr. 1696.

[BROOKS], TIMOTHY, Woburn, prob. s. of Henry of the same, m. 2 Dec.
1659, Mary, d. of John Russel, had Timothy, b. 10 Nov. 1660, d. soon;
Timothy, again, 9 Oct. 1661; John 16 Oct. 1662; beside a d. wh. m. a
Mason of Swanzey; and perhaps rem. to Swanzey a. 1679. Timothy, s. of
the preced. m. Mehetable, wid. of Eldad Kingsley, but whether he liv.
at Rehoboth, or elsewhere, had former w. or not, or any ch. is unkn. to
me.

Anyway, it looks like Lambert Sutton was from the
Northamptonshire-Leicestershire area in England, per I.G.I.:

Claycoton, Northamptonshire
--Lambert Sutton, son of John, bapt 6 Jan. 1603

Foxton, Leicestershire
--Lambert Sutton and Elizabeth Mumfor, 19 Oct. 1633
