Some further Manningham snippets, from the Yorkshire Archaeological
Journal:

John Manningham and William Manningham, brother of the said John,
remitted and quitclaimed for ever to Henry de Sotehill Esq and his
heirs all the right which we had of and in the manor of Wrenthorp and
Eddelowe in the County of York 36 Henry VI [1457-8]

Fines at Westminster 36 Edward III (1362-3): Between William Finchedon
and Roger del Clay and Clarisia his wife, and Thomas Manningham and
Elen his wife, deforciants, of the manor of Wrenthorp, with the
appurtenance, the right of Wm Fincheden.

John Maningham, son and heir of Thomas Maningham Esq, gave his manors
of Wrenthorp and Erdeslow to Henry Sotehill, Esq, and HS covenants to
give & pay the said John £300 upon the estating thereof or within 8
weeks after, in the church of St Paul in London, dated 33 Henry VI
(1454-5)

John Erdislow and William Tailliour, priests, gave to Thomas Manningham
of Wyrnethorp and Katherin his wife their manor of Wyrnethorp which
they had of the gift of the said Thomas, dated 10 June 3 Henry VI (1425)
