First marriage of Judith (Blunt) (Gregory) Chaloner

Back in May 2004, I wrote the following (a possible addition to RPA and
MCA):

--BLADEN LINE, p. 111. From a couple of sources (admittedly not the
best), I can flesh out generation 19 a bit further (William Fairfax and
his wife Frances Chaloner):

WILLIAM FAIRFAX, Knt., of Steeton, Yorkshire, Parliamentary commander,
born 1609, died 18 Sept. 1644, following the relief of Montgomery
Castle. He married 1629 FRANCES CHALONER, daughter of Thomas Chaloner,
Knt., of Guisborough, Yorks., and Steeple Claydon, Bucks., by his
second wife, Judith, daughter of William Blount of London. Frances
Chaloner was a sister of two of the Regicides, James and Thomas
Chaloner. She was living as late as 7 Sept. 1655, when the council of
state voted an additional £2,000 for her and her children. Sources:
_Dictionary of National Biography_, 6:1014; Rev. John Graves, _The
History of Cleveland_ (1808; reprint, Patrick & Shotton, 1972),
fold-out chart opposite p. 415 (this chart presents a large number of
Frances Chaloner Fairfax's ancestors [how accurately I don't know]).

_Le Neve's Knights_, p. 282, shows that Sir Thomas Chaloner's second
wife was "Judith dr of Sr Will. Blunt of Lond. widow of ... Gregory of
Hull." See http://tinyurl.com/9uuaq .

Judith Blunt married John Gregory 22 June 1598 per the IGI. Thomas
Challenor and 'Mrs.' Judith Gregory were married 10 July 1604 at St.
Peter-le-Poer, London.

The ancestral file is showing the following ancestry for Judith, wife
of John Gregory.

1. Judith Blount
2. William Blount
3. Anne Bernard
4. John Blount of Mangotsfield, Gloucs.
5. Margaret Danvers
6. Maurice Blount of Bitton/ Mangotsfield, Gloucs.
7. Elizabeth Hungerford

Mightn't this lead to new lines for the Bladen family of Maryland?

The 1623 Gloucester Visitation, p. 24, in fact shows this very "Judith
1 vxor John Gregorey of Hull. 2nd to Sr Tho. Chalenor Knight."

The father of Anne BERNARD is Maurice BLOUNT ?
Am I reading this wrong?

Just go to the pedigree chart; that will clear everything up for you.

6 above is not 6 but rather 8
7 above is not 7 but rather 9
