Good Morning Tim et al,
Another source from the glanville side, quite long but a great bit of
information is...
" Records of the Anglo-Norman House of Glanville from AD 1050 to 1880"
Written by WM. Urmston S, Glanville-Richards, Esq.
Published in 1882 in London, A very, Very Long read, Lots of Wills,
records etc. that has Peche Glanville, Butlers and hosts of any family
that married into them, where they were from, who they married, their
children, etc. and a list of all source documents used. About 217 pages
and on-line at:
http:// ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/jglanville/roanhg.htm, Or just
type in Records of Anglo Norman house of Glanville on google and it will
come up.
Thanks for responding Tim on the shield, it is mirror image of the ormonde
shield, on the cups, some docs. say the three cornish choughs were from
Thomas a'Becketts shield????
Best Regards.
Emmett L. Butler
